Bio

AJ Lynn is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Detroit. Her vocal range enables her to go between rock, country, hip hop, and jazz without losing the integrity of her original sound. Whether playing a solo, duo, trio, or full band show, she keeps the momentum and energy high.

Music was always a passionate endeavor for AJ, and she was singing, dancing, and performing on the stage by the age of three. Throughout her childhood, and into adulthood, she began picking up and playing any instrument that she could get her hands on. The guitar, ukulele, banjolele, melodica, flute, clarinet, drums, and keys are all a part of her repertoire. At live shows, AJ is typically seen playing her heart out on guitar, ukulele, and as a self-described tambourine extraordinaire.

Every show is tailored to the venue and clientele.  Whether your event is large or small, she is available to provide high quality entertainment! From bars, clubs, patios, weddings, farmer's markets, private parties, and stages large or small; a solo or group performance can be arranged to exceed your expectations.

The Dead Strings and Guilty Pleasures Acoustic are AJ’s passion projects. She can be seen playing acoustic versions of well-known pop, rock, and country songs all over Metro Detroit in these groups. She also loans her vocals to the Detroit based original group, The Vendors. In 2018, AJ Lynn is looking forward to completing the production of her first full length Country/Americana album.
